Battery Module Automated Dual Assembly Line
H55 runs automated, dual-production lines to manufacture battery packs for certified technology in Sion, Switzerland, and soon in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. H55’s supply chain strategy includes diverse and trusted sources to mitigate supply chain and geopolitical risks.
As part of the company’s commitment to product excellence, all suppliers are regularly audited to ensure compliance with aviation standards. This is supplemented by an experienced internal H55 team authorized and capable of monitoring parts and product quality.
Supply Risk Management is mitigated through a cell agnostic strategy that enables H55 to champion the best batteries and mitigate the risks of a single source supply.
H55 rigorously pursues fair and ethical conduct in Procurement and Supply Chain activities with rigorous due diligence of our partners.
H55 selects partners and suppliers based on EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) Part 21G regulations (Production Organization Approval) complying with EN/AS 9100, while performing inspections of 100% of inbound material, including battery cell inspection and electrical characterization.
Direct procurement from part manufacturers provides H55 with guarantees of quality and traceability. In addition to securing the supply chain for key components with competitive pricing, this allows H55 to be in a privileged position with its suppliers, benefiting from their latest technological advancements as well as collaborating closely around testing and quality controls.
