H55’S B23 ENERGIC TO PERFORM FLYBYS AT THE ROLEX SWITZERLAND SAIL GRAND PRIX
Building on their newly announced collaboration, two pioneering Swiss entities — the Switzerland SailGP Team, led on the water by three-time Olympian Sébastien Schneiter, and H55, co-founded by aviation pioneer André Borschberg — will unite to showcase the future of sustainable mobility during the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix in Geneva, over the September 20–21 2025 weekend. The B23 Energic, all-electric aircraft e-powered by H55 will flying above the race start during the upcoming SailGP race in Geneva on September 20-21 2025. This marks a bold step toward advancing aviation sustainability, bringing zero-emission air travel to the forefront alongside Switzerland SailGP Team’s commitment to a cleaner future for racing and the planet.

The H55 B23 Energic will flybys Geneva between 15:10 and 15:20, as the SailGP teams warm up for races.
At the controls will be André Borschberg, co-founder of H55 and Solar Impulse, who holds multiple aviation records including the longest solo flight in history — five days and five nights from Japan to Hawaii in 2015.

How to watch
The Flyby And The Race Live
The race is taking place into the Geneva Bay, on its south coast. The B23 Energic departing from Annemasse Airport will present himself from the south west at 3:10pm precisely. It will operate 2 low passes above teh Sail GP teams getting readyv for the race before to leave towards its landing airfiels.

SWITZERLAND SAIL GP TEAM
Switzerland SailGP Team represents Swiss excellence, precision and innovation. As one of the league’s youngest and most dynamic teams, it also serves as a platform for talent development, partnerships, and international engagement. The team headed into 2025 with a refreshed line-up and new mindset, bringing together a crew of seasoned Olympians, America’s Cup experience and past SailGP winners. Sebastien Schneiter leads the team behind the wheel and racing alongside are some of SUI’s top sailors; new wing trimmer and flight controller, Arnaud Psarofaghis and Bryan Mettraux, and two-time Olympian, Maud Jayet (strategist). Olympic gold medalist, Matt Gotrel and SailGP Season 4 winner, Stewart Dodson complete the line-up as grinders with reserve athlete Arno de Planta (SUI pathway) supporting.
