The new electric aircraft Bristell B23 Energic flies using Swiss propulsion and battery technology from the company H55 in Valais, a spin-off of the Solar Impulse project.

Two-seater electric propeller aircraft are a tricky matter: many manufacturers around the world are working on them. While several types are already flying with easily obtainable Ecolight or motor glider certifications, certified aircraft — that is, two- or more-seat single-engine planes like classic Cessna and Piper — are still extremely rare.
